Regional Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding
Location - Los Angeles
Full-time - office
Salary - $70k to $110k base – plus you are entitled to the
Sales Incentive Program and Sales Team Incentive Program.
Car allowance

Must have 3 to 5 years recent/current experience managing a Sales team in a Freight Forwarding organisation.
This client is looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager to join our diverse team of sales professionals.
Client information
This client is an International Freight Forwarding shipping organisation with a well-established reputation in the industry with nearly 50 years of experience. This client specializes in Seafreight, Airfreight, Multimodal and focused on the Asia-Pacific Market.
Responsibilities
Generate business leads internally and externally, secure new business and grow customer base, develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
Prepare & execute the Annual Business Plan, Business Strategy & Sales Budget
Build up and manage sales team, monitor and ensure for fulfillment & achievement of sales activities, KPI, and performance.
Prepare & promote effective market promotions for the Station.
Responsible for developing mutual accounts with overseas team, setup target goals and pursuit for achievement.
Create proposals & presentations for potential clients in line with the current guidelines.
Responsible and manage all sales team’s customer risk management, credit application as well as Accounts Receivable collection if accounting cannot collect customers payments.
Execute on any job & assignments deemed necessary by Management.
Skills
Key candidates will be performance driven, self-starters, with a high interest in freight forwarding and international logistics.
Experience in B-to-B Service Sales, or Customer Service in the International Logistics field is preferred.
College degree is a plus, but not required.
Local and familiar with the Territory.
Team player / problem solver, resourceful in creating solutions for customers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
